Welcome to BOK Dorpers
Our Stud is situated some 26 klm from Tamworth in the Attunga district.
We commenced in 2007. After reading a few articles, like everyone else wanting to get away from the high maintenance of other breeds, we decided on Dorpers. We then purchase 54 commercial Ewes in lamb, deciding that this was the way to go as to whether they suited us and our country.
In 2008 the decision was made that it was to be Studs. We then purchased 17 Type 4 and Type 5 Stud Ewes from Kaya Stud in Western Australia, purchased our first Ram (son of Big Al) and we were on our way, (like every other Stud) to strive for the perfect results.
